These cheesy seasoned potato wedges are a delicious side dish my mom use to make occasionally.  It is very simple, quick, and easy.  My kind of recipe!  They are great for when you are in hurry and need an addition to your meal.  I always have these three ingredients in my kitchen so I can make them in the spur of the moment and ready to eat within 15-20 minutes.

To prepare the potatoes, all you need to do after washing is cut them into wedges.  Cut each potato in half lengthwise then cut each half into long slices, or wedges.  See the picture below as an example.

After preparing the potato wedges, microwave and add your toppings.  So simple, so good!

Instructions
  1. Place potatoes in a microwaveable dish with the skin side down, I use a pie plate.
  2. Put a small amount of water in the bottom of the dish, just until the bottom is covered.
  3. Microwave on high until potatoes are tender when poked with a fork. This takes about 10 minutes in my microwave.
  4. Remove from microwave and top with a generous amount of cheese. Sprinkle with seasoning salt.
  5. Microwave for another minute or so, just until cheese is melted.
