Granny’s Apple Cobbler

This apple cobbler is the third recipe I make to use my fresh-picked apples straight from a local orchard.   I pick 20 lbs. so it takes a few recipes to use them up.  The other two recipes are Crock Pot Apple Butter and Homemade Applesauce.

My Granny is such a wonderful cook.  This Apple Cobbler is her original recipe.  A favorite childhood memory of mine is playing at her house and eating her delicious cooking.   No matter what she would cook for us grandkids, you could bet we loved it!  She never failed to have a homemade dessert waiting for us.  The beautiful thing about this recipe is that I almost always already have all of the ingredients for it. Enjoy! Oh, and use a tool like this one to make your life easier when prepping the apples.
