This is a year of great upheavals in the world, however it may bring around a much needed change in how we operate and make a better world for our young ones. I hope and pray this daily.
This year has seen the birth of our precious little girl, and miraculously, the garden has blossomed into a food producing wonderland. We’re getting there slowly with vegetables but the fruits ๐ ๐. Markedly, the passion fruit vine decided that this year was the year to burst into flower and how! I have jars full of the pulp in the freezer, we’re eating it on our muesli and gifting them to family and friends. Mom even made a pickle with it and it was amazing! That is a story for another day though. I love how everyone gets excited about food in both sides of my family. Good food is the foundation for a good life. Anyhow, wish so many passion fruit, I decided it was time for a bread invention. Thus the sourdough with so much passion was made. And man was is beautiful. It was so moist and soft in the middle, just a twang of sour with a hidden sweetness. It was probably the best sourdough alteration I’ve ever had!
